Strider Bikes is hosting the annual Jingle Bell Legacy Ride to support All Kids Bike! Dress yourself and your bike in your merriest holiday outfit for a festive lunch-hour ride! On Friday, December 9th at 11:30 a.m. check in will take place and the five-mile round trip, group ride will kick off at 12:00 p.m. We will start the ride from Sioux Park at the picnic area just south of the Formal Gardens and proceed along the bike path to Canyon Lake and back. In addition to the easy-going ride, we’ll have tasty treats and cool prizes for best holiday attire, who supported the most kids on bikes, and more!! Prize winners will be announced at 1:00 p.m.
Strider Bikes challenges you, your family, and the businesses around Rapid City to get on your bikes and ride for All Kids Bike. To participate in the event, a $10 donation will be required per rider. Businesses are encouraged to donate a minimum of $50, plus $10 per rider joining the ride. Every $10 donated will help teach another child the life skill of how to ride a bike! All participants are encouraged to wear a helmet. We can’t wait to gather and get kindergarteners in South Dakota on bikes!
ONE Jingle Bell Legacy Rider = ONE kindergartener on a bike!
All Kids Bike is a national movement focused on teaching every child in America how to ride a bike in kindergarten PE class. Proceeds from the Jingle Bell Legacy Ride will help make that happen, with each rider’s $10 suggested donation helping teach one child to ride!
